The Spring Playlist 2015

Me and Teddy
Friends, I am astonished to report that this is my third Spring March in Minnesota. Let me tell you–the first two didn’t really count for me. It isn’t that there weren’t good things happening to me at the time, because there totally were; it’s just that, for the first couple of years I was here, Mother Nature went crazy and I kind of forgot why I moved here in the first place. After three years, I am finally enjoying the seasons, and it is partially because they seem to be occurring appropriately at the moment. By that, I mean…IT’S SPRING!

I realize that many of you have had rough winters, and I hope that you all are on the verge encountering the beautiful awakening we have been witnessing here in Minneapolis. Do not get down on the world if it hasn’t happened yet. And if, by chance, that does not help you get in better spirits, then I recommend that you, like me, become what I have coined a “premature snowbird” (i.e., someone who does not even remotely meet the age requirement for traditional snowbird status, but still migrates to Florida in the winter every winter regardless).

Please note that there is absolutely zero requirement that you also take selfies with your awesome dog or practice yoga in gardens or do headstands by palm trees there, but if you must…c’est la vie.
At least you have a new playlist to check out in the meantime (and yes, it DOES need two songs from Will Butler).
