I’m a girl with many faces: foodie, feminist, ashtangi, barista, storyteller, introvert, extrovert, academic, wallflower, and avocado enthusiast. I really like to laugh. I mean, cackle. I mean, giggle. I mean, let’s tell popsicle stick/that’s what she said jokes and eat cookies and be friends.
I come home from work sometimes and find whipped cream in my armpit; that time I found mocha there instead is still a mystery.
I’m a girl from many places. My wandering heart has scattered pieces everywhere it has been: all over Canada, a few places in Europe, and throughout the Northeast, the Southeast, and the Midwest (though there are some bearded, flannel-wearing, sourdough flapjack-eating Minnesotans I know who might prefer it to be known as “The North”).
I found magic learning to make a roux. I found perspective staring at the world upside down. I found happiness when chocolate and sea salt met.
